The Cat Butler Franchise Questions
What experience do I need?
You don't need to have previously worked as a cat sitter or have experience running your own business. It goes without saying, though, that you must be mad about cats and be professional, reliable, organised and happy to be flexible about your hours of work.
Most clients are flexible about the times that their cats are visited while they are away, so it's possible to schedule your visits around other aspects of your life and home and family if required. You can run the business by yourself or with a partner - we can discuss both options with you.
You will receive full training in all areas of the business. You will use our proven business model.
How much does The Cat Butler franchise cost?
The initial franchise fee costs just £9,999 (*make sure you take advantage of our special offer which ends soon; more details below) and includes a wealth of benefits, support and advice.
As a guide - and based on our many years of experience running a cat sitting business - using our marketing systems - we expect your bookings to start within the first few weeks, and you can break even in as little as three to six months with The Cat Butler.
*Save £3,000 on your franchise fee. Offer ends soon!
Anyone who downloads our franchise brochure from our website and answers our questionnaire by 30 June 2022 will have their franchise fee locked in at the old rate of £7,000 (as long as they complete the purchase of their franchise by 31st December 2022).

Is there funding available for the initial franchisee fee?
We are very pleased that you can use the Government-backed start-up loan scheme to purchase your franchise and that this scheme can not only help fund the purchase of your franchise but also with initial working capital. The loan is unsecured, so there’s no need to put forward any assets or guarantors to support the application, and all owners or partners in your franchise can apply.

We can also help you find and secure finance for your Cat Butler franchise business through our finance contacts.
Is the business scalable?
As with many pet care franchises, The Cat Butler is designed to be run as a management franchise, leaving you free to build a successful, sustainable and profitable business.
There is a high demand for The Cat Butler service, and as your client base grows and at times you may get so busy that you might have to turn away bookings - so you may consider recruiting cat carers to help - we can assist you in this process.
We would expect you to spend a few months doing the visits yourself, so you become an expert in delivering your premium service and are then able to train your staff up to Cat Butler standard.
