At The Cat Butler Flint, caring for cats goes beyond the home. This summer, franchise owner Sarah Walker proudly supported North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR) at a community fundraising event – helping to raise vital funds for cats and other animals in need.
Hosted at Rhyl Rugby Club, the fun day brought together local pet lovers with stalls, games, and entertainment for all ages. Sarah hosted The Cat Butler Flint stall, where visitors enjoyed activities like “Guess the Cat’s Name” – with every penny raised going straight to NCAR.
Supporting the charity is nothing unusual for Sarah. Alongside fundraising, she regularly fosters cats in need, giving them a safe, loving home until they’re ready to find their forever family. One of those fosters – Kitty – became such a favourite that she’s now a permanent part of Sarah’s household.
The funds raised were proudly presented to NCAR’s Media Relations Officer, Nicky Owen. Joining them was Thor – one of the rescue cats currently awaiting adoption – representing the many animals who will benefit from the donation.
Sarah said: "As a lifelong animal lover, I know how important NCAR’s work is for both cats and their owners. I’m delighted to have raised funds to support them – and it was wonderful to see so many people getting involved on the day."
At The Cat Butler, we’re passionate about supporting local causes and giving back to the communities we serve. We’re so proud of Sarah’s dedication and the difference she continues to make for cats in need.
