Sharon Turner, franchisee of The Cat Butler Stourbridge, recently took part in the Wollaston Village Hall’s Sizzlin' Summer Fayre, hosting a stall to raise funds and awareness for Stour Valley Cat Rescue.
Through her efforts, Sharon aimed to support the rescue's vital work in caring for and rehoming cats in need, while also promoting responsible pet ownership within the local community. Her stall attracted many visitors, helping to generate both donations and greater awareness for the cause.
Sharon said:
"I had a fantastic day at the newly refurbished Wollaston Village Hall’s Sizzlin’ Summer Fayre on Saturday, 31st August! With plenty of craft stalls, refreshments, and the last of the summer sun, it was a great atmosphere. I was fortunate to have a stall outside, where I ran a tombola and a ‘guess the name of the cat’ game, raising £58 for Stour Valley Cat Rescue."
"Along with fundraising, I brought along pictures of beautiful cats from the rescue to help raise awareness about rehoming and finding them their ‘forever families.’ There were lots of cat lovers at the event, so fingers crossed! It was also lovely to see the PDSA there – hopefully, many local animals will benefit."
"The event was well supported by local families, with the Brownies, Guides, and even the local Morris side in attendance. Overall, it was a fantastic event, and The Cat Butler Stourbridge was delighted to be a part of it."
