Reviews from our customers in Christchurch
Gemma - Owner of Pickles
We honestly couldn’t recommend Alex highly enough! Looking after our cat is no easy task. She is incredibly awkward, very temperamental and, quite frankly, absolutely hates everyone! On top of that, she’s diabetic and needs insulin injections twice a day, so leaving her with someone is something we never take lightly. But Alex was absolutely brilliant from the start. She was patient, calm and completely unfazed by our little madam’s attitude, and somehow managed to earn her trust - which is no small achievement!
Knowing she was being looked after properly, getting her injections on time and being cared for by someone who understood her quirks gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you, Alex, for taking such amazing care of our difficult little madam and making leaving her so much easier for us. 5 stars from us, and despite her best efforts to pretend otherwise, we think she secretly approves too!
Jean - Owner of Matilda
We would highly recommend The Cat Butler. Alex spent time playing and keeping Matilda company. Also cooled food during the intense heat to make her more comfortable. We were sent daily videos and given updates. Many thanks for the caring service given.
Natasha - Owner of Maisie & Martha
Alex went above and beyond looking after my cats whilst away for two weeks. One if them is diabetic so injections given with no problems and daily updates were given. My flight was delayed and Alex kindly called in again to feed them at short notice which was much appreciated.
Janet - Owner of Francesca & Harriet
This was my first time using a cat sitter so I was very nervous having someone I didn’t know come and look after my cats . Alex put me at ease and was very professional. I absolutely loved seeing pictures and videos of my cats when I was away. Will be very happy to use again when we are away.
Steph - Owner of Quinn & Six
Alex is a fantastic cat sitter/carer and my cats adore her. With her being confidently able to inject my diabetic cat, it has given me the freedom to have a night out or weekend away with full confidence that my cats will be so well looked after. The little video of them having fuss from her when she visits is heart-warming and reassuring. I would hugely recommend Alex and her business, she’s a cat whisperer for sure and my pets couldn’t be in safer hands. I’ve already recommended her to my friends.
Sidra - Owner of Benny & Henry
Alex was amazing with our two boys. She was super professional from the first meeting, kept us updated throughout our holiday and we were able to relax completely knowing that our boys were in good hands. She also sent us lots of pictures and videos from every visit and gave us updates on how the boys were doing; all of which was greatly appreciated.
Ali - Owner of Mollie
Alex was great, really good communication throughout our time away, lots of lovely photos and videos. Will definitely be asking her to care for Mollie again.
Charlotte - Owner of Mango & DJ Donk
Our cats were so happy and well looked after while we were away. The Cat Butler sent regular photos and videos of our boys which was lovely. We would 100% recommend and will be booking again! A big thankyou from Mango and DJ.
Damon - Owner of Poppy
Poppy is already missing the attention, love, care and affection that Alex gave to her. Alex is honest, trustworthy and extremely reliable with regular daily updates. Another sit has already been booked.
Emma - Owner of Charlie
Alex provided a fantastic service taking care of Charlie whilst we went away on a weeks holiday. She provided daily video updates via WhatsApp and spent time with him during her daily visit providing us with reassurance that he was being taken care of.
