The Cat Butler Didsbury was out in full force on Saturday 7th June at the colourful and much-loved Didsbury Festival. Held in Didsbury Park and organised by the fantastic team at the Didsbury Community Association, the festival is one of the largest annual events in the area — bringing together families, neighbours, charities and small businesses to celebrate everything that makes this community special.

The Didsbury Festival: A highlight of the local calender, rain or shine!

Our local franchisee Wendy Tench hosted a cheerful and inviting stall packed with goodies, giveaways and plenty of information about our feline-friendly cat care services. Despite the classic British weather doing its worst, the atmosphere remained full of warmth and good cheer — and the community response was fantastic.

Wendy said,

Everyone who came to the stall had a story to tell about their cats. It was so heart-warming to hear about the special bonds they share — you could really feel the love.

Visitors flocked to enter the “Name the Cat” competition — especially children, who were quick to rope their parents into helping them take part! Several attendees picked up leaflets and business cards, keen to learn more about our professional, in-home cat care. And our adorable handmade cat keyrings were such a hit. Wendy sold out entirely! One was even purchased in memory of a cherished white cat, a touching reminder of how deeply our feline companions leave pawprints on our hearts.

As well as showing support for local cat rescue groups and fellow pet businesses, Wendy was also able to connect with members of the community actively seeking reliable cat care, receiving a number of promising enquiries on the day. It was a lovely reminder that events like these aren’t just about raising awareness; they’re also a valuable way to meet local cat lovers who may need our services now or in the future.

We’re incredibly proud of Wendy for representing The Cat Butler so brilliantly. Local events like the Didsbury Festival are a lovely way to connect with cat lovers in the community, spread the word about our services, and be part of something truly meaningful.
