I was really nervous about having someone I didn’t know come and feed my three cats. They are my world!! However, from the very first phone call with Alexandra she was amazing, really lovely, knowledgable and understood all my cats weird and wonderful needs. She was thorough and gathered all the information about each cat individually. My cats can be very nervous around strangers but they really took to Alexandra and she was gentle and sweet with them. This was all before we had even left for holiday.
Whilst we were away the communication was brilliant and it was lovely getting photos of all the cats and mini videos. She was amazing and I felt so calm she was with them and playing and cuddling them. The cats seemed really happy when we got home and way way better than a cattery or even a friend popping into to feed them. I knew she was doing exactly what I would do. I will definitely be using Alexandra again and couldn’t recommended her highly enough. Truly the best to look after your cats!!

We have two almost identical rescue cats who are very wary of strangers. We have installed cameras in parts of the house to follow them. We needed to find someone to look after them when we were away for a couple of days. We approached Alexandra (“Ally”) of The Cat Butler Wotton. We were astonished at how quickly Ally obtained their trust. This has never happened with anyone we have used before.
What was very clear was her quiet competence and, through her patience and gentle approach, giving them space, we saw two relaxed and happy cats, to the extent that they simply strolled past her at feeding time! We will certainly be asking for Ally’s help again and we have no hesitation in recommending her.
