Would thoroughly recommend Alex at the Cat Butler. Our cats were very happy being cared for by him (& he even won over the temperamental cat). Alex was great at staying in touch whilst looking after the cats - we had lots of videos and photos each day, so we could see how happy they were.

I wholeheartedly recommend Alex. He is extremely professional, making sure he had all the info he needed to look after our 9 month old kitten whilst we were away, and he was very security conscious. But more than anything, he was very kind and caring. He looked after her very well, as well as food and hygiene duties, he made time to play with her everyday. Angel seemed really relaxed on our return. Alex was also great at keeping us updated daily with photos and videos, which really reassured my daughter.

We went away for a few days (July 2025) and relatives were able to look after our three cats for most of this time. Unfortunately they were unable to cover two days. This is where we turned to The Cat Butler...and specifically Alex. He came to the house and introduced himself to us and the three charges, and it was obvious he was knowledgeable, experienced and trustworthy around them.
We felt completely at ease in leaving them in his care. Something which was borne out by the actual visits. He kept us informed by text, photo and video and completely put our mind at ease that they were happy and not overstressed by our absence.
We will be calling upon Alex in future when we travel away.
