I would highly recommend Helen. This was my first two weeks holiday and I decided to book Helen so my house cat Sookie could stay at home during my trip. The daily updates gave me all the reassurance I needed and I had full confidence that Sook was being well looked after. When Helen sent me a picture of Sookie lying next to her on her back I knew she felt happy and relaxed in Helen's company. Since returning from holiday Sookie has actually been a happier and more playful cat and seems less anxious around new people. Thank you Helen

Highly recommend using Helen’s services - we’re so pleased to have found her! Our two house cats had never been looked after by anyone but family, so we were very nervous pet parents the first time we used the Cat Butler but Helen did a fantastic job caring for the cats and reassuring us too. Before we went away Helen visited us to get to know the cats’ routines and she was on the floor straight away playing with them and learning their characters.

We so appreciated the video and photo updates while we were away, even going so far as to film the windows to show the house was secure. The cats clearly appreciated the company (leading Helen straight to the treats!) and even our lazy boy deigned to play with her. She was accommodating when our travel plans changed, and managed to fit in an earlier visit at our request. On top of all that, the house was cleaner and tidier than we’d left it! We’ve already booked Helen’s services again for the future.

The service we received from Helen was fantastic. When I made the initial call to her, she took time to talk to me about my ragdoll cat and all of his needs. I was really worried about him escaping (he’s a house cat), when we were away but Helen assured me she had house cats herself and knew how to stop him getting out when she opened the door.

Helen fitted us in at very short notice. She came to meet our cat before we went away so she could see him and see the routine in the house. Helen sent photographs whilst we were away to reassure us. She fed our cat, changed the litter and played with him. The service was excellent and we will definitely be calling on Helen again in the future.

We were very pleased with the service Helen provided for our 2 cats whilst we were away. The initial meeting at our house was most useful both to get to meet Helen and for her to meet our two cats. She was most thorough in explaining the service and making sure she understood our cats' somewhat neurotic behaviour. We appreciated the updates Helen sent regularly with photos/videos. Also, it was reassuring that she was keeping an eye on the house and the house plants. We have already booked her for the next time we're away. We would highly recommend her.

So much better than using a cattery! Our two furry boys were looked after in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, without the stress, strange smells and noises of rows of barking dogs nearby as they would endure at a cattery. Free to use their own home and garden via their cat flap, having Helen, "The Cat Butler", come in twice per day was absolutely brilliant for them while we were away!

Helen met us and listened to how we talk to the cats before we left and used the words and phrases our boys know well to win them over in no time. She sent us photos and videos on WhatsApp every day throughout our holiday and we saw how from day one they were literally eating out of her hand! She played with them with the cat toy we'd left and gave them a few treats along the way as we'd wanted. It was always great to see the new short videos and photos that had been uploaded for us to watch while we were away.

Immensely reassuring! It cost a little more than a cattery, but knowing how well they were looked after and how chilled and happy they were made our holiday even better. A great service. Your tigers will be in very good hands!

Having The Cat Butler attending my home every day for ten days was a lifesaver. Helen gave me plenty of reassurance and videos every day whilst we were holidaying in Spain. My cats were tended to with love and care and also the extra bits  - keeping their litter tray clean daily - was a godsend, and it was a comfort to come home like we’d never been away. Not having used a cat sitting service before I wasn't sure how it all worked. From the first conversation, Helen was friendly and professional in explaining the process - totally reassuring. Website is easy to use and gives you the opportunity to explain all the little details about both cat care and home setup. Videos and daily updates were a lovely way to show all was well. My cat is an elderly rescue boy who is loving with his family but nervous around strangers. Helen's love and understanding of cats shone through - caring for him sensitively respecting his grumbles and suspicious looks. Would recommend and would use again.

Helen was great! We had a pre-visit where she met our cat and us and collected a key in person. The portal is really easy to use allowing you to add lots of details. The videos and pictures from Helen really put our minds at rest while we were away and helped us relax. We will be booking again!
