Alexandra - Owner of Basil

This was my first time using The Cat Butler. My parents and the Cattery could not cater for Basil so I enlisted The Cat Butler in Bromley. Greg and Laura came to visit prior to my trip to do a once around and to meet Basil, then Laura was the one who did the visits thereafter. I had requested twice-a-day visits given Basil is used to me being at home all the time and is very much attention-seeking.

I got countless videos, photos and updates of him which really put my mind to rest. Best still, he was most submissive; within a few days, he was purring away, on his back asking for belly rubs. He is an outdoor cat but I kept the cat flap closed and boarded it up and it didn’t seem to worry him - was more peace of mind for me knowing that he was at home as he has a curfew anyway at home.

I highly recommend this service to anyone, and Laura was the most sweetest and kindest person to Basil.

Greg is an amazing person and professional. He took care of my dear Ceaser and it was an amazing experience. Ceaser was very happy, I got daily video updates and also felt very safe knowing that Greg was also checking the house to see if everything was protected and in the right place. We were quite anxious about leaving Alfie for the first time since we had got him, but we didn't need to worry! As soon as we landed we were able to see Greg had been to visit him and could watch the video. And then every day we were away we got videos and could see how happy Alfie was being at home, and the great bond he was developing with Greg. We felt so reassured and could enjoy our holiday knowing Alfie was safe, relaxed and happy at home. Greg was so attentive, and even sorted our post and put our bins out while we were away!

Gregory was extremely professional and accommodating and took excellent care of our cats. We enjoyed the daily videos and updates via WhatsApp. Our flight back to London got cancelled, and Gregory helped us out with additional days needed to watch our cats. He went the extra mile, providing home security, cleaning, and cat necessities. We are so thankful for Gregory taking care of our cats and treating them like his own. I have a rescue cat who would struggle with going to a cattery. The Cat Butler was an amazing find. Greg, from the Beckenham and Bromley branch, was absolutely fab. I was able to take a full week’s holiday abroad and know my pet was in safe hands. The online portal allows you to leave lots of info about the pet’s routine, location of cleaning products and details of other bits and bobs that are worth knowing about. I got twice-daily WhatsApp videos keeping me updated on my pet's well-being too. What a find. I thoroughly recommend.

Gregory was the best pet sitter we've ever had! I would definitely request The Cat Butler services again as he took such good care of our ragdoll cat, checking in on him twice a day while we were away and sending us video updates each time. Gregory fed, cleaned and most importantly, spent time with Muffin making sure he got some affection and playtime each day. He's very trustworthy, friendly and knowledgeable about cats, and we looked forward to his video updates each day as we could see he genuinely enjoyed seeing Muffin! Definitely appreciate the extra help around the house with mail collection, plant watering and tidy ups. We will see you again soon, Gregory!

When previously going away, we had to reluctantly leave our kitties at a cattery, which they found too stressful, and when the cattery closed, we had to find something else. Thank heavens for Gregory the Cat Butler! I wasn't sure, at first, about allowing someone I don't know into my home when I'm not there, but Gregory came to meet the cats and us beforehand and put my mind at rest straight away. He is very friendly and professional, and you can tell he has a real love for cats. He came for four days over Christmas and sent us videos and updates each time. One of our cats is quiet and reserved, but he was responsive to Gregory, which shows how great he is. He even had a tidy around and put our bins out! I'm beyond pleased with the service, and we (and the cats) look forward to using the service again.
