Former television editor Lara Bradford is loving her new career as a The Cat Butler franchisee. She launched The Cat Butler Leighton Buzzard on 23rd October 2023 and is doing a pawsome job!

Lara Said:

"It's now three months since I launched The Cat Butler Leighton Buzzard, and I couldn't be happier that I took this leap of faith. It's quite a change from my previous career working in television post-production, but it's allowed me to regain control of my work-life balance, and spend hours petting and playing with cats - what could be better?!

"Since my launch, which began with 16 enquiries on my very first day, it's been a whirlwind of taking calls, meeting new clients and, the best part of all, visiting lots of beautiful cats. Clients will often tell me that their cat is super shy and may hide away for the duration of the booking, but one of the best parts of my job is seeing their reaction when I send them videos of their beloved kitty playing and having a great time!

"I currently have nearly 30 clients on my books, many of whom have already rebooked for future visits, and plenty of 5-star reviews which is just such a great feeling. I already have bookings in the diary until October 2024 and have made over half of my investment back within three months, which is incredible. I can't wait to see what the rest of 2024 brings!"

The Cat Butler was set up by Sandra James in recognition of the fact that a stay in a cattery can be unsettling for many cats and also their owners.
