My first Christmas as a Cat Butler Franchisee

Christmas is well and truly over now, and it was a very busy time indeed for our cat sitters in Bromley and Keston and surrounding areas! In this article, Gregory shares what life has been like since he launched his Cat Butler franchise in November 2021.

We made many new friends - some of them were even human! It was a joy to develop a shared bond with each and every one of our feline charges – the only real difficulty was having to say goodbye at the end of the bookings. That said, I am delighted to see so many of our regular customers coming back to us to book our cat sitters in Bromley and Keston and our cat sitters in Beckenham, Chislehurst, Orpington and West Wickham, which means we get to see our little furry friends again!

New Additions!

Over Christmas, we also had two new additions to our family - Fenrir & Astrid (or, as our boy calls her, Starfire!). Our little lady, Freya, became a mother by accident just before she was about to be spayed – a matter of an open upstairs bathroom window, alas!

Fenrir & Astrid

Although we could not keep them, we enjoyed their companionship for over two months to ensure they were completely weaned before rehoming them with friends, who we know will make them very happy indeed!

The purr-fect time to be a Cat Butler

January was very much like everyone else’s January - quiet after the festive season - but we are now seeing people booking holidays and our cat sitting services in anticipation of half-term and Easter, so February has seen us getting rather busy, as will be March and April. We are very much looking forward to meeting new furry friends this Spring and can’t wait to care for kitties across Bromley this Summer, now that it looks like Pandemic restrictions are finally being phased out. It's a purr-fect time to be a Cat Butler!

The Cat Butler was set up by Sandra James in recognition of the fact that a stay in the cattery can be extremely distressing and unsettling for most cats and also their owners.
