The Cat Butler Welwyn & Hatfield Supports Rose Cat Rescue at Local Summer Fête

Local cat owners in Welwyn and Hatfield had the chance to meet  The Cat Butler Welwyn & Hatfield at the Countess Anne Primary School Summer Fête, where owner Muna Shah spent the afternoon raising money for Rose Cat Rescue, talking about professional cat sitting, and connecting with fellow local businesses.

Beating the Heat for a Paw-sitive Cause

Despite the summer heat, Muna set up shop in the shadiest corner of the school grounds with a stall packed full of fun activities and treats. Her efforts paid off, raising £60 for Rose Cat Rescue, a local charity dedicated to rescuing and rehoming vulnerable cats.

Speaking about the afternoon, Muna shared:

"What a lovely afternoon at the Countess Anne Primary School Summer Fête! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by The Cat Butler Welwyn & Hatfield stall. It was wonderful meeting so many local families, chatting about cat care, answering questions about my cat sitting service, and connecting with other fantastic local small businesses."

Throughout the afternoon, Muna spoke to local cat owners about the benefits of professional cat sitting. Rather than staying in a cattery, cats cared for by The Cat Butler's professional cat sitting service remain in their own homes, where they can enjoy their usual routines and familiar surroundings whilst their owners are away.

Local Collaboration & Sweet Surprises

One of the standout highlights of the stall was a batch of bespoke Cat Butler themed cupcakes featuring adorable edible paw prints and Butler logos.

The cupcakes were handcrafted by Lucy, a talented local baker who happens to be both a client of Muna's and the caterer for The Cat Butler HQ! Muna shared the delicious treats with the event organizers and prospective clients.

Connecting with the Local Community

Beyond raising funds for Rose Cat Rescue, the event was a brilliant opportunity to connect with fellow local business owners and chat with cat owners looking for reliable, stress-free cat sitting while they're away.

"Community events like this are a brilliant way to build relationships and support local causes, and I’m grateful to have been part of it," said Muna. "If you picked up one of my leaflets or we had a chat today, I’d love to hear from you!"

Overall, it was a fantastic, warm afternoon full of new connections. Muna is already looking forward to the next local fair, though next time, she jokes, she'll definitely be bringing a pop-up gazebo instead of wrestling with her parents' dusty garden canopy!
