The sun was out, the flags were flying, and the community spirit was in full force as Ferdi, owner of The Cat Butler Enfield, joined the traditional St. George’s Day Fun Day celebrations.

Held at Grundy Park in Cheshunt, this high-energy local event featured everything from medieval re-enactments (complete with a St. George vs. the Dragon showdown) to morris dancers, puppet shows, and a spectacular bird of prey display. Amidst the excitement of funfair rides and archery, Ferdi was on hand at The Cat Butler stall to meet the local cat community.

Fundraising for Felines

For Ferdi, the day was about more than just celebration; it was an opportunity to support a cause close to her heart. Her stall was a hub of activity, featuring:

  • Krispy Kreme Doughnuts: A popular treat that helped attract plenty of foot traffic.

  • Cat-Themed Gifts: A curated selection of feline-related merchandise for local cat lovers.

All proceeds from the stall were raised for the RSPCA Central London branch, a charity choice that received incredibly positive feedback from the public.

Connecting with the Community

The event served as a perfect platform for Ferdi to connect with local pet owners, many of whom were previously unaware of The Cat Butler’s presence in Cheshunt, Waltham Cross and Broxbourne.

"I had so much fun and am already looking for my next event," says Ferdi. "It was wonderful to provide information on cat welfare and our local services. Many owners expressed significant interest in our bespoke cat-sitting servicesas a premium alternative to traditional catteries."

A Trusted Local Service

Whether she is fundraising at a local fete or providing professional care in your home, Ferdi brings the core values of The Cat Butler to everything she does:

  • Vetted and Insured: All services are provided by fully vetted and insured professionals.

  • A Home-from-Home Experience: Allowing cats to stay in their own familiar environment, avoiding the stress of a cattery.

  • Transparency: Providing daily updates and peace of mind for every owner.

A great day for the local cat community at the St Georges Day celebration
