The Cat Butler Arrives in Radlett and Surrounding Areas in Hertfordshire

Cat owners across Hertfordshire will be able to hire their very own Cat Butler to look after their feline friends while they are away on holiday, the weekend or simply to pop in every day while they are at work.

Jane Hotz (57) who has launched The Cat Butler, will be caring for the county’s cats in Radlett, Shenley, Borehamwood and Elstree, Bushey, Watford, Rickmansworth, Abbots Langley and Kings Langley.

Following a 36 yr career at the top of the international fashion industry, Jane has decided to give up her career and run her own business, visiting cats in their own homes while their families are away. Jane has recently qualified as pet first aid trained and can give cats medication including diabetes injections.  

Jane said: "As the owner of two cats who are my complete world, I totally understand how stressful it can be for cats and their owners when they want to go away for a weekend or on holiday. I’ve tried everything and I know that my cats are happiest being looked after in their own homes, as I believe most cats are, so that is the premium service I’m going to be offering to my clients.

"I will visit cats every day while their owner is away, giving them lots of love and cuddles, feeding them, cleaning out litter trays and generally making sure they are happy and healthy. If the customer wants me to, I can send back daily videos and photos to show how they are getting on.

"Our Cat Butlers also pride themselves on providing a ‘light touch’ security service for homeowners, checking through the premises when they are away, opening and closing curtains, putting the bins out and generally making the home look 'lived in."

I can’t wait to start caring for the county’s cats. They are the most wonderful creatures, each with their own characters and habits and I’m so looking forward to getting to know them and providing a premium service to them and their owners. After 36 years of working at the very highest echelons of the fashion world I’m a stickler for great communication and making sure my customers are 100% happy, so I’m looking forward to bringing these standards to my new business.
